Chamber Music Party

The Adult Chamber Music program at Crowden is throwing a chamber music party!

You will be placed in a group based on your self-assessed skill level (see below). Beginners and Intermediates will have a piece assigned to them and Advanced Intermediates and Advanced players will have a variety of pieces available to them to play.

If you have a group of people that you want to play with, let us know and that can be arranged. If you have a piece of music that you would like to read, let us know, and we will see if there are others at your level who are interested in doing that.

Beginner - no shifting, still developing basic intonation and rhythmic skills, little to no experience playing with others. Beginning as an adult.

Intermediate - Began as a child, haven't played for a while, OR can shift to lower positions, can play basic rhythm with others, has had some rigorous intonation and rhythm training and has some experience playing chamber music.

Advanced Intermediate - Can utilize multiple positions, has had experience playing different periods of music (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century) can find your place in the music at least 70% of the time if lost.

Advanced - Has an extensive background in chamber music, can sight-read most music put in front of you.

DEADLINE FOR SIGN UP IS DECEMBER 11
