Under the Christmas Tree at VFW San Marcos
Six actors, thirty-eight characters, 12 short plays - from the imaginations of the play writers and actors group "Minds' Creative": Candice Carr, David Young, Jason Jones, Jeron Tucker, Steve Lawson and Terri Bennett.
The vignettes take place around a Christmas Tree and range from traditional Christmas conversations about Santa Clause to an angry Elf who has lost the Christmas Spirit to a comic re-telling of the Christmas classic "Twas the Night Before Christmas". Elves, fairies, wide-eyed children, overeager mothers, strained father-son relations, secret agent Santas, and more populate the space Under the Christmas Tree. This marks the second year that the troupe has performed the play in the Central Texas area.
