Rod Kim - http://www.rodkimrocks.com/
Rod Kim is a Wilmington based songwriter and performer. Having just independently released his second album "To Love and Be Loved" with best friend Vince Cirino, we are very excited to have him be a part of our showcase.
Matt Woods - http://www.therealmattwoods.com/
Here's the long story. Matt has been a figure in the East Tennessee music scene for the past ten years. Located in Knoxville, TN, he has performed in several bands as well as working as a solo artist. Matt has shared the stage with the likes of CAKE, Drivin' n' Cryin', Will Hoge, Shannon McNally, Kevn Kinney, Roger Clyne (of The Refreshments), The Corduroy Road, Tim Lee, Mic Harrison (of the V-Roys and Superdrag), Doug Gillard (of Guided By Voices) , Two Cow Garage, Col. Bruce Hampton & the Code Talkers, Zac Brown, Graham Colton, Brian Vander Ark (of The Verve Pipe), The Features and a seemingly never-ending list of talented independent artists..
Christopher Kayfield - http://www.facebook.com/ChristopherKayfield
Christopher Kayfield is the songwriter, guitarist, and frontman of the Norristown based band Magnifus with Benjamin Mitchell and Ryan Snyder. Gable has been extremely impressed with not just the musicianship of this band, but the creative passion that drives it. Very much looking forward to this rare solo set from Christopher.
Em McKeever - http://www.facebook.com/EmKeevMusic
Em McKeever is a graduate of UNCG's School of Music, but don't let that fool you. She just wants to rock out. Right now, Em runs around Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, writing music, playing original songs, and generally making a fool of herself in front of people. She also teaches guitar lessons (and banjo to beginners, on occasion).
Gordon Vincent - http://www.facebook.com/GordonVincentmusic
Gordon grew up listening and appreciating every type of music. No limits - no rules. From Muddy Waters to Patti Griffin; from Chrissie Hynde to Ryan Adams; from the 60's to generation "next". He wants to be a classic for a new generation. He wants to bring your spirit and soul into the music; taking us all to the next level. He want to give you a moment that is timeless; no boundaries; a freedom that can shed negativity.
Music is his passion and his soul. It speaks through him and to him.
Shane Palko - http://www.facebook.com/shanepalkomusic
Shane has released two official albums, one of which is available on iTunes. It's called "Going Places." You may hear that title and think it to be some silly proclamation of big dreams. Nope. "It is more of an observation; i like to go places. i like to be places. It is not named for some deep-seated desire for a successful musical career. i already have that. You know how i know my music is successful? My grandad recently told me that he uses my first album, "Pretty Good Songs: Volume VII" as his alarm clock every morning"
