BRIEF SYNOPSIS:
Today's leaders are transforming the Texas Medical Center into an even more collaborative environment for the advancement of medical education, research and patient care. TECO is honored to serve 45 buildings on the Texas Medical Center campus, providing an invaluable chilled-water and steam infrastructure that allows member institutions to focus on their collaborative medical efforts.
SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY:
Steve Swinson, PE, is president and chief executive officer of Thermal Energy Corporation in Houston. He has overall responsibility for the company's management and strategic direction and led the company through its largest-ever expansion from 2007-2011. He is the company's primary contact responsible to the Board of Directors comprised of TECO's customers on the Texas Medical Center campus.
Steve has 30 years of experience in the district energy industry, including positions at Trigen Energy Corporation as regional and technology divisions president and at Auburn University from 1983-1993. He was president of Midwest Mechanical Contractor's Central Division prior to forming and operating his own district energy consulting company for five years before joining TECO.
