The Maydays present: Bill Arnett Improv Workshop Weekend
Bill Arnett Improv Workshop
Bill Arnett is an extraordinary teacher and improviser - in fact he is truly an "improvisers improviser". He is a founding member of 3033 - which just finished a 9 year run at iO and was the show that seasoned hard-core improvisers would watch. Bill was the head of iO Chicago training centre for many years and now runs the Bughouse Theatre. His approach is unique and he has had a huge influence on the Maydays, in fact Bill is our Katy Schutte's and John Cremer's favourite teacher thus far. It took the Maydays two years to embody what Bill taught us in 3 days. It is extremely rare for Bill to travel as he has a young family but we have enticed him to Brighton for one weekend only. As a special bonus for those on this workshop you can also attend "Bill's Brain" as an audience member. This is a private half day experience where Bill puts five improvisers on stage, freezes the action, explains what he is seeing and the options available to the performers before continuing the scene. This is an intense learning curve for all parties with the weekends class limited to 16 attendees, so don't miss this exciting and rare opportunity!
