The Grammy and Pulitzer Prize winning ensemble travels from New York City to collaborate with both the Marylhurst Art Gym and the Marylhurst Chamber Choir, including a performance of Caroline Shaw's PARTITA, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2013.
Roomful of Teeth was founded at another leading art gallery, MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts. Friday evening, Roomful of Teeth take the Marylhurst Art Gym by storm to discuss the connection between thier music and the modern visual arts, including a gallery walk where the Teeth will improvise in reaction to some of the works on display. Be a part of the fascinating synthesis of art and music.
