Tali Rubinstein Quintet
NYC based recorder player, singer, and composer Tali Rubinstein began her musical path as a young girl. A student of recorder player and singer Bracha Kol, she has been professionally trained in classical recorder performance for 15 years, later on to dive into the jazz and be-bop world with jazz flautist Ilan Salem. Tali has graduated with honors from prestigious music institutions in Israel: Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts (classical performance), Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, and The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (jazz performance). Recently, Tali graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music, Boston. During her studies at Berklee College Tali was discovered by multiple Grammy Award winning Spanish producer Javier Limón. For the past two years, she has been collaborating with Limón on several projects, including as player and arranger in his masterpiece album "Promesas de Tierra" (2013). In September 2014 Tali released her second duo album "Tal y Tali" together with pianist Tal Even-Tzur, produced by Limón.
