This eclectic selection of experimental dance showcases the work of emerging choreographers, spanning a wide range of aesthetics and styles. Traditional modern dance intermingles with unconventional movement: virtuosic lifts meet bodies smooshing together, performative smiles alternate with deadpan stares, and pointed toes are offset by wiggling feet. We hope to delight you with the morsels we serve in the mess hall.
Mess Hall is a performance series presented by The Coincidentals that provides a space and audience for new and experimental dance works by independent artists. This first installment includes original work by Lydia Feuerhelm, Dina Liberatore, Jamie Corliss, Lauren Kunath, Lindsey Lee, Hayley Larson, Natalia Alarcon, Missy Lobes, Abby Williams, and Chloe Michels.
