Noises Off By Michael Frayn directed by Andrew Cuk
DECEMBER 9th show CANCELLED due to Labour Dispute.
What happens when in putting on a play, everything goes wrong? Hilarious mayhem! Michael Frayn's quintessential farce is a madcap of on and off stage buffoonery. Premiering in England in 1982, Frayn did not stop revising and tweaking his award winning play over the years as it has been revived both in London and on Broadway and played in numerous theatres across the world. In final dress rehearsal for the fictitious Nothing On by Robin Housemonger, everything is behind schedule for the opening that evening. Nothing seems to go right as the personalities and sexual foibles of the cast, crew and director bring everything to head. The play follows in a long British tradition of a wonderful mixture of British textual wit and outrageous slapstick humour.
