Spirit of the Eighties featuring The Spoons August 11th
In celebration of Lewiston Porter's Class of 1987's 25th year reunion, we will be hosting an exclusive reunion concert "Spirit of the 80's, headlined by legendary 80s band, The Spoons. The Canadian band, known for its new wave sounds will perform a wide range of classic 80s hits as well as songs off their newly-released album, Static in Transmission. With opening acts The Woodroes and playing together for the first time since 1984,The Mirrors. Hosted by former CFNY radio DJ Don Berns, this Reunion festival is sure to stir up some Old Emotions and even cause some Romantic Traffic at the band shell in Village of Lewiston's Academy Park August 11,2012. Proceeds from the event will go directly towards a memorial scholarship fund to be donated by the class of 87. THIS SHOW IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. MUST BE OVER 21 TO ATTEND. NO COOLERS, NO LAWN CHAIRS.
