EBASS December Showcase - Kathryn Hallberg, Scott Card, Erin Jarvis and Frank Bell
EBASS continues its monthly residency with four wonderful local songwriters
Kathryn Hallberg - www.kathrynhallberg.com Emotional, evocative, warm & natural, firmly rooted in Americana with pop and country stylings lightly layered on top.
Scott Card - www.scottcardmusic.com After studying at Ithaca College with classical guitarist Pablo Cohen and jazz guitarist Steven Brown, Scott also spent time scoring film and on the writing staff at Black Cloud Productions in Westford, MA. Scott now lives in the Boston area, attempting to blur the lines between jazz, folk, classical, and everything in between.
Erin Jarvis erinjarvismusic.com Currently double-majoring in Songwriting and Music Business at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Erin has been blessed to collaborate and co-write with incredible musicians. She is currently working on an album "Green Eyes," which is being co-produced and engineered by Nelson Braxton and Berklee-alum Keith Ong and will feature 5 incredible Berklee alumni. Erin states that "Green Eyes" "is a collection of [;her]; favorite stories that embody many of [;her]; influences blended together to form a sound that uniquely represents [;her];: genuine, beautiful pop that is relevant to all people.
Frank Bell www.frankbell.net Originally a classically-trained cellist, Frank Bell later expanded his instrumental arsenal as a way to further express himself as an artist. In Canada, he recorded his debut EP 'On Passion and Reason', a folky, neo-soul acoustic rock album which would later be released independently worldwide with famed Producer Bill Bell (Tom Cochrane, Jason Mraz, and more).
