She's Behind You! Bath Roller Derby Girls
Oh no, it isn't! Oh yes, it is! It's nearly time for BRDG to host their last double header of the year, and we're planning a panto-tastic day of derby to remember get ready for SHE'S BEHIND YOU!
*** WHERE ***
Join us for an afternoon of dames and derby action at Bath Sports & Leisure Centre. Centrally located, with it's own café all bouts will take place in the main Sports Hall. With all previous home games packed to the rafters, make sure you get down early to bag a good seat!
Please be aware that some other contact sport team called Bath Rugby are also playing at home on this day, so parking will be very, very scarce! Locals, walk in or use buses! Everyone else, the Park&Ride / train is your friend.
*** FIRST BOUT ***
In our opening bout, Bath Spartans come up against the formidable Nottingham Roller Derby. This is the first time the two teams have met on track, bur stats predict a close-run result, and a good challenge for both teams! (First Whistle 2pm.)
*** SECOND BOUT ***
What's a panto without a second half? Providing a festive finale to our day of derby, Bath's B team, the Roman Rollers, will be taking on Oxford Roller Derby B's in what promises to be another fab match up! (First Whistle 4.20pm)
*** ATTENTION EGG NOG FANS ***
Please note that our venue is unlicensed. Sneaking booze in seriously jeopardises BRDG's ability to host any public bouts in the future. We promise there will be plenty of time for a cheeky Baileys at the afterparty, so please stay off our naughty list!
*** EXTRA FUN ***
In addition to these two family friendly bouts, we'll also have stalls (including Skate Alley and 50 Shades Of Derby!) for you to browse, a brilliant raffle, festive cake stall and some very special half time entertainment...
*** TICKETS ***
Tickets are available from Brown Paper Tickets for £6 + booking fee. BATH BOUTS SELL OUT! If we do have any tickets left by bout day, you can risk buying them on the door (£8).
Babes In The Wood under 12 are free with an accompanying adult, but do require a ticket so we can keep track of numbers (also available from Brown Paper Tickets).
