Since the time of Aristotle there have been claims that dolphins possess the capability of achieving extraordinary swimming speeds. For nearly a century scientists have tried to determine what exactly provides that capability so that we could "copy" it. Join researcher Jim Rohr as he explores this topic and shares some of the studies with which he has been involved. Includes a discussion of Next Generation Science Standards connections and classroom activity ideas.
