Æterna Trio
Æterna Trio is the exciting and inspiring ensemble featuring Ben Birkbeck (piano), Devon Colella (cello), and Andy Happel (violin).
With Æterna Trio, forces collide in a genre-bending hail as these exceptional musicians spontaneously 'riff' on classical themes, rock favorites, and their own contemporary compositions. Highly skilled at musical improvisation, Æterna Trio is known for composing new music right in front of an audience's eyes. Æterna Trio reinterprets beloved classical themes such as Canon in D, The Nutcracker, and Ave Maria, and features popular music from artists such as AC/DC, The Police, and Led Zeppelin.
This concert will also feature seasonal favorites to fit the holiday season.
