Smith Street Stage Mid-Winter's Wassail: Featuring "Shakespeare's King Phycus"!
Hear ye, Hear ye, Lad and Lasses!
Gather with Smith Street Stage upon the 11th Day of December, 2015 at 6:30pm for a fundraising revel of celebration, to announce our 2016 Season, and to hear a play!
What can you look forward to at our Holiday Season FĂȘte?
A STAGED READING of 'Shakespeare's King Phycus' by Tom Willmorth, a play that has been produced to great acclaim in Chicago and LA but has never been produced in New York City! Be the first to experience this hilarious and wickedly smart Shakespearean verse parody, winner of Best Ensemble and nominated for Best New Work at the 2011 Joseph Jefferson Awards, and voted Top of the Fringe in the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival!
A RAISING OF FUNDS for Smith Street Stage's next season of programming, including our Shakespeare in Carroll Park production and some exciting new projects! The cost of your ticket and any concessions will go entirely to supporting our work in 2016!
A CELEBRATION of Smith Street Stage, now a New York Innovative Theater Award-Winning Company! Your ticket price can guarantee you unlimited drinks for toasting to our next season...which we will be announcing during the evening's festivities. Be the first to know what Smith Street Stage will be up to in 2016!
So come have a drink with us, hear a play, laugh a lot, see old friends and make new ones as we celebrate the end of one season and the beginning of a new and very exciting year of theater to come!
