Hometown Hootenanny: Take a Back Road
As the Rodney Atkins song says, "put a little gravel in your travel" as we mosey down country roads, salute the simple country life at the Hometown Hootenanny's "Take a Back Road" on Saturday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Everett Theatre.
The Hometown Band's set list includes "These Are My People," "What I Love About Sunday" and "Red Dirt Road," among other great country songs, sure to bring the feeling of lazy country days into sharp focus.
Fresh from her Nashville recording session, our favorite country sweetheart Rachel Mae will take the Hootenanny stage, accompanied by the Hometown Band and on her own.
Local gospel and country music legend Lem Pratt and his band will perform an extended set of original music and covers that range from country to bluegrass.
And we're pleased to introduce showcase artist Jim Brunkhorst to the Hootenanny audience.
Advance tickets for the Hometown Hootenanny are priced at $16.50 for adults, $13 for seniors and students, and $5 for kids 12 and under. A special family package of two adult and two child/student tickets (up to age 18) is available online only at the reduced price of $39.50.
The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett. Red Curtain Productions is the producing entity of Red Curtain Foundation for the Arts, a non-profit arts education organization located in north Snohomish County.
