Clove Productions, in association with SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts, presents the San Francisco premiere of VERBATIM VERBOTEN, the invasion-of-privacy revue. VV is an ever-changing cabaret of word-for-word transcripts of noted people (and some ordinary folk) saying things they never meant for the public to hear: surveillance tapes, secretly recorded conversations, forgotten open mics, on-camera diatribes, released emails, private correspondence, et cetera. VERBATIM VERBOTEN has collected over three hundred such pieces, with more being added all the time...meaning no performance is like the one before.

The show has enjoyed extended runs in Chicago, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York, and New Orleans. We're thrilled to be at The Garage for our San Francisco debut.
