Auditions for Dance Theatre of Harlem/CityDance Summer Intensive
CityDance School & Conservatory is partnering for the third year with Dance Theatre of Harlem to offer a Summer Ballet Intensive. The first of three auditions will be held on December 5 at the CityDance School & Conservatory's Strathmore Music Center location.
8 - 9 YRS OLD
Ballet only: 9:00 - 10:30
10 YRS OLD
Ballet: 9:00 - 10:30
Contemporary: 3:30-5:00
11 - 12 YRS OLD
Ballet: 11:00 - 12:30
Pointe (if applicable):12:30-1:00
Contemporary: 3:30 - 5:00
13 - 14 YRS OLD
Ballet: 1:00-2:30
Pointe: 2:30-3:30
Contemporary: 3:30-5:00
15 + YRS OLD
Ballet 12:00 - 1:30
Pointe 1:30-2:30
Men's class: 2:30-3:30
Contemporary: 3:30-5:00
Dance Theatre of Harlem @ CityDance is ideal for students interested in a challenging exploration of ballet and the allied arts with daily classes in ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, and African. Other activities may include, master classes with guest artists and CityDance faculty, world dance, choreography workshops, and participation in a culminating performance.
