EXPLORING SOCIAL NETWORKING -- COURTNEY MEZNARICH

If you are of the age where you are befuddled by social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat, this is the course that will persuade you to the uses and benefits of these popular platforms. Your instructor will provide you with a brief synopsis about each of these social networking sites. Then you will navigate the steps to setting up and using a personal Facebook account, including finding friends and family, sharing content, online etiquette, and setting privacy controls.

If you are curious, nervous, or unsure about social networking this course could give you the confidence you need to give it a try.

Courtney Meznarich is an account manager and social media specialist at Barnett Cox & Associates, the premier public relations and marketing firm in San Luis Obispo County. She has a firm grasp on a variety of social media platforms, and manages social media accounts for businesses to market brands and manage reputations. Courtney believes social networking is changing our world on many levels, but especially the way we communicate with loved ones and friends. She enjoys using social media to stay in touch with her contacts around the globe. She has a journalism degree from Cal Poly.
