How do parents shape their child's identity? What elements of cultural or religious identity do you want to pass on? When a couple grew up with different traditions and faith, these can be delicate questions. Join a candid exchange with other interfaith parents about identity, family, and traditions, and how to respect the feelings and hopes each of us bring.
If you are a family with one Jewish partner and one from another background, we'll help you get started on these important conversations. Facilitated by Rabbi Rachel Nussbaum and Marjorie Schnyder, LICSW.
Thursdays, January 21 and 28 7:00-9:00 p.m.
JFS Capitol Hill Campus 1601 16th Avenue, Seattle
RSVP required, $25/person or $40/couple.
