Gladys's Comedy Room Saturday Show May 5, 2012
An outpost of Gladys's NYC clubs, this laugh spot is tucked in the Cancun City Restaurant in Des Plaines. Whoop it up in the audience on Saturday nights at 9 p.m. -- each show features both national and local talent at the mic. Arrive a few minutes early to score your favorite cocktail, beer, or soda from the bar -- there's a one-drink minimum -- or make a night of it and grab dinner first.

What kind of Cinco de Mayo Stand-up Comedy Show would we be if our headliner was not Mexi-, um Puerto Ri-, um some kind of Hispanic! Come out and celebrate with laughter, margaritas, beers, tacos, burritos, and with enough tequila; every thing will be hilarious!
