The McComedy Show is a comedic duo made up of Shannon McDonough (Host of LGBT travel series "BUMP!" on OUT TV and LOGO, and the one woman show "An Evening With Tammy Faye") and Michael McLean (Host/Writer WinJester Bucket-of-Comedy).
Shannon and Michael met back in 2000 when they were waiting tables at the same restaurant. Performers waiting tables, imagine that? At some point they astutely realized that their last names started with the same two letters and BAM - McComedy was born!
McComedy is a blend of stand-up, sketch and short funny films. Emmy nominated writer and Fab columnist Paul Bellini says "The McComedy Show is anything but fast food. Shannon McDonough and Michael McLean are witty, versatile, and bring new meaning to the word "gay". In some ways, they're the new Nichols and May."
The We're Funny That Way Foundation is pleased to welcome The McComedy Show to the fest for it's final year.
