Oregon Food Bank FEAST, Stevenson, WA
Gorge Grown and Oregon Food Bank to host FEAST community action learning day in Stevenson, WA on May 12 ***WHAT is FEAST? ~FEAST (Food, Education, Agriculture, Solutions, Together) is a program of the Oregon Food Bank (OFB). ~It is a community-organizing event focusing on local food systems. ~It is an opportunity to engage in an informed and facilitated discussion about Food, Education and Agriculture and to begin work toward Solutions Together to build a healthier, more equitable and resilient local food system for Stevenson, Carson, and Cascade Locks.
***WHERE? ~FEAST will happen at the Exibit Hall of the Hegewald Center in Stevenson, Washington
***WHEN? ~May 12, 4-6pm
***WHO? YOU!! Citizens and community members of Stevenson, Cascade Locks, North Bonneville, and Carson.

FEAST has been successful in launching community-driven action plans around local food systems, food insecurity, and other food issues throughout rural Oregon communities. Condon, Oregonpopulation near 700 and located about 1.5 hours southeast of The Dallesis an example of a community that participated in FEAST and has developed organization and momentum around local food projects through their participation.
