REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #4, hosted by Imani Gandy and Dan Roth
Come on out and boo and/or cheer for your favorite Republican Presidential candidates when the New Parkway shows the broadcast of the second round of Republican debates, live from the the Milwaukee Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Check back for updates about who will participate and who will be moderating.
About the hosts:
Imani Gandy is a recovering attorney turned political blogger, journalist, and women's rights activist. She is the publisher of Angry Black Lady Chronicles, winner of the 2010 Black Weblog Award for Blog to Watch, and the 2012 Black Weblog Award for Best Political Blog. She is currently co-host of This Week in Blackness Prime. Her work has been featured at The Grio.com, AlterNet, and she appears regularly on a variety of progressive radio shows and podcasts.
Dan Roth is a criminal defense lawyer, activist, and political junkie who doesn't own a television and needed a place to watch the first debate.
Half of the proceeds for this special event will go to an as yet unnamed local nonprofit. Come on out for the sure to be lively debate and give something back to the community in the process.
