Heroin, Spice, And Other Local Drug Abuse Awareness in Lafayette
This class in meant to increase understanding, awareness and to learn the dangers of local drug use in our community. It will focus on the more dangerous and abused drugs of Heroin and Spice and their manufacture and prevalence in our community. Other drugs will be discussed, but with the increased use of these two drugs that are causing serious medical problems, increased property and violent crimes, and even death; the focus will be on them. The class is November 20th from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Lafayette City Hall council chambers. There will be plenty of time for questions. We are excited about this opportunity to continue to educate and learn from the community and to reduce crime in Lafayette with our mutual partnership.
The class will be led by police specialists in the area of narcotics, and potentially someone from the medical community.
