Young Guns of Bluegrass
Nick Dumas and Chris Luquette have been redefining bluegrass music since their teens, when both were members of Northern Departure. The popular quartet quickly became audience favorites at the Hometown Hootenanny, and their musical careers have reflected both their youthful energy and impressive musicianship.
In 2012, Chris Luquette became a member of the award-winning band, Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen, touring nationally to critical acclaim. Now Nick Dumas has accepted the role of mandolin player and lead vocalist with the national group Special Consensus, and will soon be moving to Tennessee to start the next phase of his career.
Red Curtain is excited to present these two exceptional musicians, along with their friend bassist Connor Hutteball, in a special concert event on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Red Curtain Arts Center, 1410 Grove St. in Marysville.
And to put the cherry on the top, quirky bluegrass and old-timey quartet Pickled Okra kicks off the show with their trademark harmonies, fun sense of humor (and Paisley's bad jokes) and unique musical renditions of traditional and modern favorites.
Only 90 seats are available for this show, and it's sure to sell out. Get your tickets early!
Tickets are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors/students/military personnel, and $5 for kids 12 and under.
