Introduction to Herbal Medicine Making
In this hands-on series, Becky Kemery and David Kirchhof of Medicine Circle Eco-Retreat, will share their knowledge of herbal medicine making, from growing and collecting herbs to making teas, tinctures, salves and more. You will leave with practical skills in herbal medicine making that you can use for yourself, your family and your community.
Herbs grow and are harvested through the seasons, so this course is seasonally based, with an Introduction, Spring, Summer and Fall classes. Each class focuses on the herbs in season and the work of herbal medicine making for that season. Classes can be taken individually or as a whole course.
There will be some hands-on work with herbal teas and infusions, but this class is primarily classroom based. **This first class is being offered on a pay-as-you-can basis to make it available to all who wish to join us. Come and see if herbal medicine making is for you!
