Voices from the Heart - The Big Sing!!
Celebrate a Big Birthday with Voices from the Heart! Voices from the Heart turns 20 this year and will celebrate with "THE BIG SING!!" on November 21st at 7:00 p.m. at South Church, 292 State St in Portsmouth.
"We will remove the traditional barrier between performers and listeners and have the chorus and audience sit together while everyone sings!" shares director, Joanne Connolly. Joanne will teach all the songs to the chorus and audience alike as they become one big chorus in "The Big Sing!"
"The physical arrangement of singers sitting with the audience members will enable the audience to experience the music from the inside out. The audience will literally feel the music, favorite music chosen from the last 20 years, vibrating all around them! African drums, Native American flute, and Gospel piano will all accompany the singers."
