"Oscar & Isabelle" - 25 mins - 2008.

Set on the darkly beautiful winter coastline of Northern Ireland and narrated by the consciousness of the house,
Oscar & Isabelle details the end of a fifty-year-old love affair between Isabelle, a retired music hall singer, and Oscar, her 150 yr old house. Isabelle finds a dramatic ritual to say goodbye to Oscar and the landscape she adored.

This film is inspired by the unusual combination of skills of an Italian-American farmer and an amateur scientist. The films aim to conjure the particular atmosphere of the vineyard and related places, and explore each place's ability to engender an emotional response.
