Malachi Graham and the Bad Liars is an indie Americana band with orchestral zest. Fronted by Malachi Graham, the band consists of Sam Burns (keyboard), Hannah Cyrus (drums, vocals), Jessie Kohn (cello), Yimin Peng (flute), Lianna Bessette (vocals), and Rebecca Perez (mandolin), all students at Bowdoin College. Playing original songs by Malachi Graham about lost teeth, sleepwalkers, Superman's mom, great poets, and Victorian séances, the group channels the nostalgia of classic country and the enthusiasm of 60s girl pop.
