WHAT THE FAWC 2?! - Freestyle Alligator Wrestling Competitions
"What the FAWC 2?!" is a unique and exciting two day professional freestyle alligator wrestling competition. Held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Florida, the events start Friday night and concludes with the finals on Saturday night. Wrestlers will compete against each other in a scoring system similar to that of professional bull riding. The alligator will receive a score and the wrestler will be judged according to their skills for a combined score. Judging categories are: Alligator Aggressiveness, Water Wrangling, Land Wrangling, Wrestler Style and Danger/Difficulty of Stunts. Each competitor will have 8 minutes to remove their gator from a deep pool of water onto land, where they will attempt to outperform each other with dangerous stunts. The last event, FAWC1, was ground breaking and a huge success. Fourteen wrestlers competed for cash prizes with a live attendance of 2,500 people resulting in a standing room only event. Through local, national and international media it conservatively reached over 3 million people world wide. FAWC2 will be even bigger and more bad-ass!

ANIMAL TREATMENT STATEMENT: The FAWC organization is fully committed to ensuring the much deserved respect, safety, and health of each alligator that enters any and all FAWC Events. FAWC is a self regulated association that strictly adheres to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) regulations for the treatment and transportation of alligators. With that said, alligator "wrestling" is a centuries old tradition of Native Americans, in which the animals are caught and subdued in a manner more humane than what is allowed by the government. Competitors demonstrate a barehanded capture technique derived from Native Americans that in no way puts the alligator's life in danger nor causes pain. The alligators used in the competitions are rescued animals saved from trappers that were scheduled for destruction. FAWC alligators are also used for educational purposes while they are in captivity which are FWC inspected facilities. Thank You.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my children? They are 5 and 7 years old. If so is it the 25 per person per day? ($100 per day for my wife and two children) |
Answer: |
Thank you for your interest in the FAWC2 events. This event has a limited capacity so unfortunately a children's ticket price is being offered for these events. |
