LOVE STORIES FROM THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR
The Chicago Improv Den proudly announces the premiere of owner Dina Facklis' one-woman show
Love Stories from the Cutting Room Floor.
Love motivates so many of our actions, but what happens as we start to redefine it in our older and maybe-wiser years? Facklis explores this through personal stories as well as the characters that intrigue her most on love's landscape.
Dina Facklis is the owner and creative director of The Chicago Improv Den. She also currently performs with iO Chicago's celebrated Virgin Daiquiri and is a performing and directing alum of The Second City National Touring Company.
Love Stories from the Cutting Room Floor is directed by iO/Second City's Alison Gates and teacher/director-around-town James Whittington. Carlos Luna provides technical direction.
The show runs Sundays 7:30pm November 8 thru December 13 at the Den Theatre. Tickets are $10 to the public; $5 for improv performers and students
Opening night will host a 7pm reception with appetizers-- followed by an 8pm performance.
Opening each performance will be a short showcase of solo material by students at
The Chicago Improv Den.
