You are welcome to arrive to V22 on Sunday 20th May Scrap Club is happening within a large constructed art space with bars etc. We might also release some tickets on the day.

At Scrap Club various household objects such as tvs, washing machines, cookers, computers, musical instruments, office furniture and the occasional car are collected.
All the objects are sourced from the streets (usually dumped) and/or are donated to us as useless objects beyond their original use.

The audience are then supplied with sledgehammers, crowbars and pipes and destroy the lot.

Scrap Club is a public Destructivist activity that draws on the lineage of Destructivist Art, involves the audience in active destruction and encourages discourse on the nature of aggression, consumerism, the value of objects and personal issues.

Products everywhere. Look around you. How many products do you see. Count them. They are tools to aid you. You know that you must have them. You are always reaching out to them throwing old ones away taking new ones. always the instigator. always the initiator of your special relationship.

NOW. every once in a while. you have to smash them up..show your appreciation . . . respect them as entities of your imagination?.
