Join the San Diego Chorus for Once Upon A Winter! Seeing this show is a great way to begin your Holiday season. If you have never been to a San Diego Chorus Show, you are in for a treat. Twice named International Champion of Women's Barbershop Harmony, SAN DIEGO CHORUS is a highly trained and talented group that has earned more awards, medals and prizes than any local sports team. An a cappella show chorus of women singing 4-part harmony in the barbershop style, San Diego Chorus is committed to both local entertainment and international competition. Once Upon A Winter, under the direction of Kathleen Hansen, will feature the San Diego Chorus singing a variety of holiday music, both traditional and contemporary. Included in the performance will be quartets and double quartets, in addition to the full chorus. A special guest appearance by Center Stage and Spotlight Ladies from East Lake High School, under the direction of Rebecca Land, will round out the entertainment.
In addition to the wonderful music, there will be a fabulous Christmas cookie buffet and silent auction.
The U.S Marine Corps Toys For Tots Foundation will be collecting unwrapped toy donations at the door.
Once Upon A Winter will be performed on Wednesday, December 9th at 7pm in the new Creative, Performing and Media Arts School located at 5050 Conrad Ave, San Diego. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and military. 5 years and under are free.
