Join us at our annual Holiday Mixer fundraiser to celebrate 2015 and ring in the new year! Food, drinks, silent auction, and great company!
This year we will have Audio Archaeology spinning wintery tunes for us! Our event will also feature food from over 10 Edgewater restaurants, a beautiful and delicious cake from Maddiebird Bakery and a hot cocoa bar courtesy Metropolis Coffee Co. !
Our venue for this year's event is the beautiful and historic Firehouse Chicago, located at 1545 W. Rosemont Ave. Parking is available in the Hayt Elementary School parking lot.
There is plenty for the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce to celebrate this year:
- Launching two new marketing initiatives to gain greater exposure for our business and community: the Explore Edgewater Groupon campaign reached over 50,000 area residents and brought in over $58,000 for participating businesses. The Northside Wedding Guide is a collaboration with four neighboring chambers to promote local businesses that provide services and products to people getting married.
- Installing 38 new bike racks featuring the Edgewater branding along our business corridor, providing more biking infrastructure and adding a splash of color to the district.
- Deepening our partnership with the Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC) by joining their coalition to streamline the sign permit process in Chicago and producing the Shark Tank-eqsue Edgewater Pitch Fest.
