Bastard Assignments - FRESH AND CLEAN 3 - Block336
Formed at TrinityLaban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2011, and run by a fluid group of artists, Bastard Assignments have recently put on events in spaces such as a tea room in Greenwich and a bombed out church in Peckham.
In early 2014, Bastard Assignments created the event series S/M/L, with funding from the Sound and Music Composer Curator scheme, and we continue to be supported by Arts Council England in 2015 for shows in Peckham and our Fresh & Clean series.
One of our running projects is our 'At Your Place' series: we have been re-appropriating houses, flats, basements and balconies all over London to create a series of super-intimate, informal, experimental performance events. You can view videos and pictures of all these events on our Visual page.
February 13th 2016 is the finale of the Fresh and Clean series following on from successes in September and December 2015. Featuring new work by Tim Cape, Edward Henderson, Kajsa Magnarsson, Barry O'Halpin, Caitlin Rowley, Josh Spear, and Jennifer Walshe.
