Kate Clinton was one of the original we're funny that way performers having appeared in the first festival and the award-winning documentary of the same name.
Kate describers herself as a faith-based, tax-paying, America-loving political humorist and family entertainer. With a career spanning almost thirty years, she has worked through economic booms and busts, Disneyfication and Walmartization, gay movements and gay markets, lesbian chic and queer eyes, and eight presidential inaugurals. She still believes that humour gets us through peacetime, wartime, scoundrel time and economic down times. This year she celebrates her 31st year of performing.
The We're Funny That Way Foundation is grateful to Kate for returning to the fest for it's final year.
