SowDown on the Farm!
It's a Spring SowDown on the Farm!
Meet farmers from local organic farms, and get a glimpse of what life is like on the farm in Spring! Come explore, plant, learn, and celebrate!
Enjoy a cooking demo with guest chef Greg Johnson, watch container gardening demos with author and TV host, Amy Pennington, and explore and forage for exciting edibles with Heidi Bohan.
We have lots of great activities planned with Wilderness Awareness, Camp Korey, Oxbow Education, Dog Mountain Farm, WSU Small Farms, Mint & Marigold, and many more!!
You'll see the farm in spring, participate in planting fall's harvest, enjoy a farm fresh lunch (optional) dance to music from the Valley of the Moon Fiddlers, and a maypole celebration!
While you're here, you can sign up for CSAs, get lots of gardening and cooking tips, buy some organic vegetable starts for your own garden, and maybe even go home with some great prizes!!
Admission is free for children, $5.00 for adults. Farm Fresh lunch add on option is now closed. Please bring your own picnic to enjoy on the farm!
