THE 7 BROTHERS MEET DRACULA (1974) & THE NOTORIOUS DAUGHTER OF FANNY HILL(1966)
The Grindhouse Film Festival returns to the New Beverly Cinema on Tuesday, April 10th, with two period films that'll first thrill you and then confuse you. First up is THE 7 BROTHERS MEET DRACULA, the American theatrical version of the Roy Ward Baker / Chang Cheh "Dracula and Kung Fu" classic THE LEGEND OF THE 7 GOLDEN VAMPIRES). Whether you prefer your vampires to be of the well-dressed Transylvanian type or the hopping Chinese-style, this one is guaranteed to satisfy with the best of both worlds. Following this will be Peter Perry's period sexploitation film THE NOTORIOUS DAUGHTER OF FANNY HILL, in which a bunch of naked American actors do their best with some fake British accents. A well-worn print to add some sleaze to the ridiculous action on screen.
The event starts at 7:30pm, and admission for the double feature plus a reel of rare exploitation trailers and a free raffle is still only $8.00.
