Christmas Crap-Array
Do you develop a twitch each year when "Jingle Bells" is playing in department stores the day after Thanksgiving? Do you want to throw something when you hear merry carolers singing sweet songs about the baby Jesus on street corners? Do you love Christmas but can't resist substituting filthy lyrics to old sacred songs? Then "Christmas Crap-Array" is the show for you!
The Lesbian / Gay Chorus of San Francisco, under the direction of Stephanie Lynne Smith, is delighted to present "Christmas Crap-Array", a twisted adult cabaret of clever and irreverent offerings held at the intimate EXIT Theatre, 156 Eddy Street in San Francisco. The show will run 3 nights, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 20, 21, and 22, 2007, at 8 pm. Tickets are $10-$20, sliding scale, general admission. For information please visit www.lgcsf.org.
The performance will showcase our soloists and ensembles performing the kind of raunchy, hilarious songs and skits that have become the Chorus' signature. It will feature Jack Dubowsky's "Magic Snow", answering the age-old question of how Santa manages to make it across the world in 24-hours without needing to rest. Expect to laugh until you cry. This fundraiser for the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco is guaranteed to delight and offend!
The EXIT Cafe opens one hour before the show and sells beer, wine, pizza, wraps, and other food.
The Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco is supported by the San Francisco Grants for the Arts/SF Hotel Tax Fund and is a member of GALA Choruses (Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses, Inc.), the world's only association committed to serving the LGBT choral movement.
LGCSF is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
