The Jemima Code: Dinner & Book Signing
In partnership with our friends at The Bitter Southerner & A Capella Books, we are excited to host author/educator/activist Toni Tipton-Martin for a special dinner and book discussion on Thursday, November 19th. Our own Chef Shakeenia Warner will be joined by Chef Todd Richards from White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails and the forthcoming Richards Southern Fried.
Ms. Tipton-Martin's most recent book, The Jemima Code: Two Centuries of African American Cookbooks, will serve as the center of discussion and inspiration for the food being served that night. $70 per person includes cocktail reception, four-course dinner with wine pairings,and gratuity. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase that evening.
