Oklahoma Victory Dolls Roller Derby Double Header!
Saturday May 12, 2012-Centennial Building at the OK State Fairgrounds, 333 Gordon Cooper Street, Oklahoma City, OK. Doors open at 5 pm, action starts at 6!
Oklahoma Victory Dolls Roller Derby hosts a Double Header! Watch two bouts for the price of one! First cheer for the Oklahoma Victory Dolls All Stars as they take on the Springfield Rollergirls in a WFTDA sanctioned bout. This is the third match-up between these two teams. In 2010, Springfield took home the win on the Victory Dolls' turf. Last year, Victory Dolls went to Springfield and brought home a win. Who will come out victorious in 2012? Come find out for yourself!
After the All Stars play, watch OKVD Battle Squad go up against the Enid Roller Girls. Last year, the Battle Squad beat Enid Rollergirls but it wasn't without a fight!
Tickets are $10 in advance and are available at OKC and Norman Guestroom Records locations (http://guestroom-records.com/) or online at brownpapertickets.com. Tickets are $12 at the door. Kids under 12 get in FREE with a paid adult.
Beer can be purchased with a valid ID. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis and you are welcome to bring your own chair.
The Oklahoma Victory Dolls are OKC's premier WFTDA member-league and a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, focusing on sportsmanship and giving back to the community. A portion of the proceeds from this bout will benefit the Neighborhood Services Organization of OKC (nsookc.org). NSO will have a table with information at the bout and will be accepting donations of the following items:
