ROY BOOK BINDER, has earned his stripes.... "The Book" travelled with The Rev. Gary Davis in the 60's, rediscovered Pink Anderson and revived his career in the 70's and has been included in The Blues Who's Who & The Big Book of Blues.
Jorma Kaukonen included Roy's songs on his last two Red House Records.

The Book left Greenwich Village in 1976, moved into a tour bus and lived on the road for the next 15 years! Roy borrowed from his heroes to become a distinct voice in the blues and folk music world. "The stories are as good as the songs", said The Sydney Morning Herald in Australia.

At MERLEFEST, The Book has hosted the acoustic blues stage for the past 16 years and he has been inviited more than a few times to appear at world famous, PHILADELPHIA FOLK FESTIVAL.....including the 40th anniversary and the 50th anniversary!
Roy Book Binder has been to Hell & back....(Blues Festival in Hell Norway last August)
But he is still out on the road entertaining audiences around the world.
We are very happy and honored to welcome him to Lily Pads.
Joe Fletcher is an Americana artist from Providence, RI. He fronts country blues-based outfit The Wrong Reasons, while still playing many solo acoustic shows throughout the land every year.
Joe Fletcher & The Wrong Reasons' debut release, Bury Your Problems, received overwhelmingly positive reviews and Fletcher's story-driven songwriting began catching national attention earning comparisons to Cash, Cave, Cohen, and Dylan.
After a series of lengthy U.S. tours in support of Bury Your Problems, Joe Fletcher & the Wrong Reasons released their sophomore effort WHITE LIGHTER in December 2010. Recorded at the illustrious Machines With Magnets Recording Studio in Pawtucket, R.I.
White Lighter has attracted a whole new level of attention. Most notably, No Depression has championed Joe, saying that "Joe Fletcher proves his versatility on White Lighter. His signature brand of dark and lyrically driven honky tonk is interspersed with a softer side that would make Hagg or Jones proud."
Joe played Lily Pads in January 2011 with the Wrong Reasons, playing a triumphant set opening for The Low Anthem, then he and the Wrong Reasons returned to Lily Pads in June 2011 for an amazing co-bill with Brown Bird. He shares the bill this time doing a solo acoustic set. We are thrilled to have him back, for one of his last area shows, before he takes the stage at Newport Folk Festival in late July.
