A former member of the world-famous Groundlings comedy troupe, writer/comedian James Judd brings his latest autobiographical show, "Funny Stories", to the Seattle Solo Performance Festival. Best known for his award-winning one-man smash hit "7 Sins", which had long runs in San Francisco and appeared in 2007 and 2008 at SPF, this new show has four new stories - a hand to nose combat with a shark, a disobedient camel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, a family canoeing trip that wash ashore at a nudist beach, and Judd's infatuation with a doctor who turns out to be a fake and a killer. Judd brings all these sordid tales to life in his own inimitable style. Judd can be heard contributing his stories at NPR's Snap Judgment and I Love A Good Story.
Funny Stories is directed by Keira McDonald.
