Event
Chris Guillebeau: Start Small, Live Large
Monday, June 4 at 7:30 pm
Chris Guillebeau explains how to lead a life of adventure, meaning, and purpose--and earn a good living--with the tiniest of investments: $100. Guillebeau, author of the $100 Startup, shares lessons from folks who've found ways to opt out of traditional employment and pursue what they find meaningful, building healthy businesses from a modest investment (in many cases - yep - $100 or less). It's all about finding the intersection between your "expertise" and what other people will pay for, and Guillebeau should know - he's never held a "real job," yet he's completing a tour of every country on Earth. Presented by the Town Hall Center for Civic Life with University Book Store. Series media sponsorship provided by PubliCola. Series supported by The Boeing Company, the RealNetworks Foundation, and the True/Brown Foundation.
