Join Mero Cocinero Karimi, our favorite revolutionary chef, dreamer, and community builder, as he returns to Asian Arts Initiative with the latest installment of The Cooking Show. The Cooking Show is a live cooking performance that incorporates music, storytelling, political discussion and humor to satisfy audiences' hearts, minds, stomachs, and funny bones. Audience participation is encouraged: Members can not only taste the menu items, but help prepare the recipes along with Mero and his culinary comrades. The audience, says Karimi, is the essential ingredient that shapes and lends flavor to each performance! The audience actively participates in the show, with opportunities to help prepare the meal, take a sensory journey, and taste the recipes.
