Stuart Fuchs, multi instrumentalist & touring artist visiting from New Hampshire returns to Rhythm Inlet to offer another Didjerdoo workshop! For those who attended Stuart's didjeridoo session at the Rhythm Inlet in March '15, this session will go further and deeper into the techniques to release the magic of the Didjeridoo!
This class is open to everyone - please Join us in a two-hour exploration of the didjeridoo & it's many benefits for cardiovascular health and spiritual well being. You'll Learn breathing exercises & meditations specific to the didjeridoo, techniques for playing rhythms, & a step-by-step process for learning to circular breathe. The benefits of circular breathing include lowered blood pressure, higher blood oxygen levels, stress reduction & the correction of sleep apnea. For over six years Stu has worked as an artist in residence at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo NY, joining patients, families & hospital staff in the creative process for well-being & emotional release. He has been a featured TedX speaker & was recently awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for composing healing music for & with cancer patients.
$25 advance, $30 at the door. Early registration is very much appreciated! $3 "Dinkeridoos" will be on sale are an option for those who wish to join in, or BYO Didjeridoo.
