THE FOURTH OF APRIL by Bob Bartlett
Written to commemorate Bowie State University's Sesquicentennial and set in the immediate aftermath of the Civil Rights Movement, The Fourth of April concerns the activities of Bowie State College students in the 1967-68 academic year when they confronted conditions on campus and power at the highest level of state government.
