Description:

MH370, the aviation industry began defining strategies to improve aircraft safety. As a result, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) proposed a new standard for global tracking of commercial aircraft.

We will present the latest results of IATA's task force and ICAO's recommendations, and discuss:
Does real-time tracking improve aviation safety?
What is the state of advancement of the current regulation?
What should airlines do in order to adopt the new standard?
What would be the opportunities and challenges for aircraft and embedded systems manufacturers?
