BRM May Intensive

May 1st - 6th / Butoh Ritual Mexicano Intensive Training

In these 5 days both international and Mexican students will have the special opportunity to work and share in this unique cross cultural setting. We will engage in the BRM training to cultivate our energetic capacities, expose and transform our own cultural references, and discover the limits of the body as a means to open the door to the immense and subtle realms within us.

We will train together at the Butoh Ritual Mexicano Dance Center, a beautiful studio built by Diego on his family land in the hills of Tlalpujahua, cultivating a sense of communal ritual with the environment and one another. The expansion of our bodies and creativity will be the seed that we offer to the soil and one another while we open ourselves to receive new gifts from the unknown.

Together participants will create a collective offering that will be presented on the final day.

PREREQUISITE: PRIOR BRM TRAINING WITH DIEGO (minimum 10 hrs.)

$375.00 total (including $150.00 non-refundable deposit)
Shared housing arranged by BRM, approximately $10/night
Food approximately $5/day
